Tomorrow will be the one-week-left mark of this semester! It's so crazy how fast it went by. My roommate and I worked out the other night, which was really us doing some pretty intense planks and another ab workout. We also had some fun with photo booth.... hehe
Seriously. I don't know what I would do without this girl. We didn't know each other before last semester, but we decided to share a room anyway. She is such an inspiration to me! Her testimony is out of this world strong, and she is just so funny!
Anyways. My roommates and I have hosted a "Waffle Wednesday" party almost every single Wednesday of this semester and tonight's special was cinnamon. Oh my goodness. They were so delicious. My roommate added food coloring to make them extra fun!
Well. This is my post. Until next time, blogging world.

Warm Sundays = Life is Good
So it's been a while since my last post...
Anyways, I am at the end of my Sophomore year at Brigham Young University - Idaho. It is so crazy how fast time flies! I have learned so many wonderful things while being here, and I know I will learn so much more! I feel like I have especially learned so much more about myself and have strengthened my testimony so much since attending school here. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I believe in Christ. I am so grateful for His sacrifice that He gave so that we can return to our Heavenly Father after this life. I don't know where I would be without His love and the Atonement.
I had the great experience of attending the baptism of one of my sweet roommates yesterday and today I was able to go see her receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. I know that this special gift has helped me through my whole life, and has helped me to understand and feel God's love for me. The Holy Ghost has helped me personally to know the things that I do about Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father.
I think this video has a really amazing explanation of how the Holy Ghost helps to strengthen testimonies.
Today is also a really warm, bright, sunny, and cheerful day! Plus after church my roommates and I are going have quite the feast together! Full of soup, homemade bread, salad, and dessert pizza. Oh I love my roommates and I love Sundays!

My weekend. Sort of.
Let's start with yesterday!
I made a deal with my Sunday School class that if they are good for 3 weeks, we'll have treats. Yesterday was week #2 and so far so good... Anywho I have a very special family.
Exhibit A:
Moving on. I have noticed that people don't really like Mondays. I am not always a Monday lover myself, but I am an optimist! That is why I have decided to take note of the awesome things that happen on Mondays.

Exhibit A:
If you haven't seen any Juilian Smith videos, go to YouTube and search Julian Smith. For serious. My brother likes to put his glasses in the same way Jeffrey does. You'll see.
Here is for today:
1. I actually cleaned my bathroom. I think my mom heard angels singing.
2. I went to various stores with my mom. Right when we were checking out at the last store a lady told us that there were 65 MPH winds... oh boy. So we left and it started raining and by the time we got home it was pouring rain.
3. I am going to make cookies eventually at some point today. Mmmmmm.
4. We are having Rigatoni for dinner. My fav. :D
5. I am now a proud owner of the Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown DVD. Don't be hatin.
Here are some lovely pictures from today's thunderstorms!

Laundry.
So my mom did laundry yesterday. Not only do I enjoy feeling of wearing clean clothes and sleeping in clean sheets, but I adore the smell. Last night I was all snuggled in my bed and they smelled soooo clean! Ahhhh :) I am grateful that my mom not only does my laundry even though I am home from school, but she made my bed for me last night when I was getting ready for bed. Best. Mom. Ever. There are countless things that I could write about on here, but these are just 2 highlights I wanted to point out. :)
Time to watch a movie and have my mommy play with my hair now. Can I get an amen?

Today.
Well I was making carmel brownies when I finally decided to actually make a blog. 9 more excruciating minutes until my yummies are out of the oven. Yessss. I'll be sure to take a picture of them. Maybe, if I remember. I suppose I should write something more exciting, but nothing is coming to mind. Other than my awesomely mismatched socks, but even that fact isn't super exciting.
I have thought of one slightly exciting thing: I teach the 12-13 year old kids Sunday School at my church. Let me tell you, THAT is one exciting class. There are about 10 kids that come every Sunday, and half of my class consists of boys. I was surprised to learn though that the boys are more talkative and loud than the girls are. Here is a super plus to teaching the class: my twin brothers are in it. Tomorrow is my 4th week teaching them and they seem to be getting better. Knock on wood. Like 20 times.
Last week in my Sunday School class, one of the twins was sitting quietly and paying attention, but I looked up at him and he had somehow stuck 2 pieces of paper right above his mouth, so he looked like he had a mustache. Classic. I told him to take them off and a few minutes later, the papers were above his eyebrows. I really wanted to bust up laughing, but I figured that would probably promote bad behavior which wouldn't be a good idea...
Hopefully something funny will happen in tomorrow's class that will be post-worthy. Mwahahahaha :)
